How You Will Contribute
As a Software Product Manager you are responsible for the vision and profitability of a product line. Product Managers work closely with various teams to make business decisions and create product strategies that ensure the company’s long-term sustainability.
Conceptualization and design of solutions:
Liaise with clients to understand their needs and to gather requirements for appropriate solutions.
Planning out the blueprints for software projects.
Discussing potential projects and their parameters with clients, executives, and software developers.
Project Planning and resource utilization:
Serve as the primary contact for the onboarding of new clients, the training of platform end users, as well as post go-live support.
Serving as a liaison to communicate information regarding requests, changes, milestones reached, and other pertinent information between Medicus and its clients.
Plan, prioritize and manage multiple software projects, including defining the scope, allocating resources, setting deadlines, laying out communication strategies, and indicating tests and maintenance.
Tracking milestones and deliverables to ensure each project stays on schedule and adheres to the deadlines.
Represent the voice of the client to provide input into every core product, marketing and sales process.
Collaborate with the engineering and development team to set up or configure our software platform as per customers’ requirements and troubleshoot technical issues raised by customers
Delivering completed software products to clients and performing regular checks on the products' performance.
Provide insights to customers to ensure that they get the most out of the platform with the aim of helping grow our customer base.
Proactive engagement in emerging technology trends:
Monitoring best practices and trends in emerging technologies.
Proactively research, recommend and develop/adapt/implement technologically innovative solutions to enhance user experience.
Evaluate and assess technology products/services as and when required to ensure the organization provides the best possible user experience.
Collaboration with the organization’s community:
Develop, establish and oversee procedures and work standards for troubleshooting, reporting and tracking.
Work collaboratively with team members and management on the identification and development of appropriate innovative solutions.
Lead technology-related teams and/or actively participate in the related discussions.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Engineering, Computer Science or another related field.
MBA, ACP, or PMP is a valuable addition.
Documented experience in working on project management and provision of technical support;
Experience with Customer Relationship Management and Customer Service best practices;
Experience working with, and managing, high-profile stakeholders and clients;
Experience in agile project management;
Advanced knowledge of IT technologies (such as web servers and XML);
Experience building and maintaining relationships, while working to mitigate churn and drive engagement and renewals;
Empathetic, positive attitude with a desire to help our customers reach their goals.
A high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail is required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible approach, able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
Solid written and verbal communication skills in English are a must.
